What's up with all the sensationalism in relation to anything Google on here lately?

 

Actually read the terms, there is nothing that can legitimize the claims made.

Go to any web host provider, register a domain for 10 bucks, then set up an email account through your domain, you can then use IMAP (best way) into your phone or Outlook or whatever you want to use.

oh for christ's sake with this sensationalist BS again, The qutoe you used is from a 1979 court ruling that google qouted in a motion to dismiss a class action lawsuit from a bunch of non-gmail users who were upset that emails sent TO gmail users do in fact pass through gmail servers and are filtered the same as any other email that does so. Google was not claiming, nor is it in anyway true, that Gmail users dont have any privacy on their servers. But go ahead, keep posting your sensationalist BS looking for validation.
