Samsung trolling Apple with the iPhone 6s launch?

FakezZ

Please explain hey those advertisements were childish.

honestly, you don't know? have you watched and listend?

"I'm going to promote my company by shunning my compititions consumers"

"PCs are for boring people" (lawyers/accountants)

"Macs are for interesting people" (artists/designers)

literally, what Samsung is doing to Apple right now. they're attempting to make fun of the customers waiting in line for something that isn't really "new"

Where did you get that? Flagship to flagship they are very much close in cost. http://www.slashgear.com/debunked-galaxy-s6-edge-more-costly-to-make-cheaper-to-buy-than-iphone-14379001/

Marketing amount and other products. Also r&d, if you haven't noticed apple is late to every game, that saves a lot of money. Just look at samsung mobile and apple profits, it's not even funny how much money apple is rolling in.

Thats called apple being better in the marketing game. How is apple late to the game? Best in class CPUs, were first to truly make a good touchscreen smartphone. Was the first to put a high resolution display on a phone. Were they late to the larger phone game? Yeah. Does that mean they are slow in every game. Hell no. If apple being smart is some kind of sin then please, enlighten me.

Capacitive touchscreens were designed way before apple ever decided to make a phone. CPUs are not best in class just as good as in class and actually are late too. Exynos chip that is in S6 came out a while ago, S7 is coming soon.

If a dual core can perform/outperform quad cores+ while being more efficient while doing it, then that is best in class. Please show me a phone that was WIDELY AVAILABLE with near the PPI of the iPhone 4 at the time of its release.

Also, I never said apple made the touchscreen smartphone first. I didn't say they made the technology. I just said they were one of the first to make a good touchscreen smartphone. It started what we consider the smartphone now.

It's not more efficient. It's not outperforming. Widely available is not the same as first released, we are talking about r&d costs here. LG had a phone with 300+ ppi in 2008, if it didn't sell well it doesn't mean they didn't have it researched already. Apple used LG panel.

Yes. It outperforms all but one phone by which it ties. If you can't understand that a dual core doing this is an engineering feat then lord help you. And ok. They weren't the first, but damn those are pretty crappy examples.

s6, s6 edge, s6 edge plus and note 5 all tie the iphones and they came out before it.

The amount of cores is not the reason. Apple is using bigger and higher clocked two cores, it's not an engineering feat, just a different type of approach, which actually leads to iPhones having shitty usage battery life. They only make up for their shitty battery life because of how optimised the software is and stand by uses almost no power.

So? These are the top of the line chips. Also fact check before just saying stuff. S6 is clocked at 2.1 and 1.5 ghz. Both faster than the 1.3 in the A9. http://www.androidauthority.com/galaxy-s6-octa-core-processor-usage-617585/ Also, the reason why battery life is shorter is do to the battery's being smaller; something that has always been true.

You mean 1.85ghz like in a9 and it's not like a9 doesn't boost lol. I never said they aren't top of the line, but they are, like always, late to that line.

Battery life is shorter not only because of the battery being smaller. Iphone 6 plus had a quite a big battery, but the usage times are always lower, the only part apple makes up is standby. Exynos big.LITTLE design is more efficient when it comes to conserving battery during usage.

oh lord. have you watched those videos? it is implied; "suggested but not directly expressed; implicit"

Samsung isn't outright saying "LOLOLOL YOU MORONS ARE BUYING SOMETHING THAT ISNT TECHNICALLY NEW HAHAHA"

but they sure are implying it.

like Apple did, way back when. implying that windows users are dull & boring people. only wear suits, etc.

Don't count on it, Samsung has a pretty loyal fanbase too.

the same loyal fanbase that didn't show up so Samsung paid a group of people to stand around in their lines?  :P

there's being fans, and there's being stupid. standing in a line for hours to get the phone first is part of the latter imo. that doesn't mean nobody would go to a samsung store if there were one.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

You can't understand that it is a substantially newer chip. If the S& uses an Exynos SOC, it will probably outperform it. The S6 is meant to compete with the 6 not the 6s.

Right, because people waiting to buy an iPhone will change their minds on the spot and get a photocopier I mean Samsung phone.

Samsung should try to convince other Android buyers to buy Samsung phones instead of trying (and failing) to convince iPhone buyers to switch platforms.
