Windows 8.1/10 whql support?

Ah ok. This option is miss explained, but it is to enable full UEFI support. If you setup your computer correctly, and all your hardware are UEFI ready, you want to enable this, and disable CSM

Just installed windows 8.1 and saw this option to enable this on my mobo. Is it anything important?

whql means: Windows Hardware Quality Labs

It is a Microsoft certification process and signature of drivers. It is not something you enable/disable in the motherboard BIOS/UEFI, or something to download and install.

So, I have, sadly, no idea what you are talking about. Can you please clarify?

Well  on the bios under "S.O Settings" theres an that let's me choose between enable and disabled on a setting called "Windows 8.1/10 whql support".
