I'm looking at getting a GTX 950. However, people have told me to get a GTX 960. Does that sound like a good idea? I was looking at http://www.amazon.com/PNY-GeForce-GDDR5-Graphics-VCGGTX9602XPB/dp/B00SK8PK9A/ref=sr_1_18?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1443102339&sr=1-18&keywords=gtx+960

Should I get the 2GB or 4GB versions. I really do want to get this because I've always wanted a GPU that looks like a stock GTX 980 Ti because it looks so cool and that it shows you have a powerful card. :)

There's not a huge performance increase. And it's really not worth the massive price difference. Also, if you can afford it, just get a 380.

950 < 960

2x950 > 960, 970

380 > 950, 960

Please keep the prices in mind.

I Would go with either the 690 or 380 over the 650 any day of the week, I think the extra money definently helps you out in the long run.

"The poor man always pays twice" is especially true for GPUs, buy the highest end you can afford for your system if you are gonna game at all.

You mean a 960? :)

So just get the 2GB model and skip the 4GB version?

EVGA B1 PSUs are bad. GS/G2 or XFX TS

If 960 then yes. The card has EXTREMELY low memory bandwidth and thus cannot use the rest of the memory.

R9 380 has almost double the bandwidth so it's a better option while also being 10-15% faster.
