now thats what i needed to know/see.  Thank you, 99% i will most likely be getting a 780ti

Hello, let me begin by saying im aware of the 1gb Vram difference in the 780ti, however, it seems to not be an issue for the games i plan to play (arma 3, dark souls, gta, as well as some of the upcoming games this and next year).  I understand thatt he 780ti is kinda expensive, but for the sake of the question, please imagine them the same price (dont worry, they are near the same price range).  I plan to play games at 1080p high-ultra settings.

Any help would be appreciated.

I can just say that my 780ti runs almost every game I own (which is most) at 1440p 60 Ultra just fine

But you also have to take into account GameWorks Titles, they are very Maxwell biased and the 970 will perform slightly better (Examples include Witcher 3, Far Cry 4, Project Cars, etc.)

Slitghtly

Also, things to note: This was using the launch drivers for the 970 & 980. I would expect the numbers for the 970 and 980 to be slightly lower than what you would get now +5% to 10% :)

dont knoww hat that means
