7.1 is just pure software that even an M40X can use it.

There is well mastered pop out there... Besides, in the world of headphones, $300 is hardly high end.

I didn't think there was much bass to pop. However, you can find bass boosted songs. I know that the Turtle Beach headsets appear to have bass control on it.

lol wut? 7.1 is usually low end and headphones without 7.1 will probably perform better since CSGO since engine is bad, and any headphone could use it to it's full extent (anything that's worth anything at least)

A physical 7.1 setup is only possible with speakers. And i thought the topic was about headphones.

AKG K553 is easy to recommend. For a headphone noob, it's got enough of all the right features without sacrificing too much in any one area.

Minus that a lot of people find them uncomfortable, their weird head position, and their poor sound in comparison to what you can get for the same amount of money. They are tuned for beat timing. They are not for listening.
