ssd // boot time

Go to solution Solved by Nineshadow,

Uh...

Any SSD will suffice.Especially if you're using Windows 8/8.1/10. Windows 7 boots a little slower.

How many write and read speeds i need to achieve 10sec or under 10sec computer boot time ? ( Sorry if the question is dumb :D

At all to go super fast everywhere how many write and read i need ?

Just get well reviewed SSD. Negligible difference.

And you can ignore the advertised read/write speeds. Actual read/write varies greatly across different tasks.

My old Plextor M5P takes me to the Windows 7 login screen in about 5seconds.

If you want to be a sucker for significantly faster speeds, you'll have to RAID 0 or spend a lot more on a PCIE SSD.

I heard that raid 0 is so risky and it will kill my ssd's and make me lose data

my ssd does 200r? 130w? in real world file transfers between itself and a hd (honestly dont know the full speed)

Adata pro sp600 128gb

i boot win10 in about 6 secs

maybe its because im only booting with 103/118gb filled?

small drives boot faster dont they?

Which is why RAID 0 still exists and is still used today. Very smart.

Or not?

dunno to be honest
