New Datatraveler is worst than the old one!

Hi all,

 

I bought a Datatraveler 100 G3 32GB a years ago, with a very rough adventure with being left in wachine machine, clothes dryer and many drops. I also reformat it a few hundreds times throughout the years.

 

Today I just bought the same model of usb drive, but it is no longer the speed of the old one. The speed is as follow (Measured by CrystalDiskMark):

Old Usb drive: 170MB/s read, 40MB/s write (seq)
New Usb drive : 80MB/s read, 14MB/s write (seq)

The same model of USB offered by Kingston, bought from the same retail shop in Malaysia here, but does anyone have any explanation on the speed difference? I am so disappointed about it. Sorry I do not have any screenshot as prove but I am not lying.
