Like all the others said, connect the monitor to your GPU.

hay guys so this is my current build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/n8mPpg I turned it on and it ran fine the fans got power the cpu got power and every thing looked great. I pulugged it into my monitor and for some reason it didn't get an out put I tried it through mulitiple plugs but it didn't show anything I need help rally badly. He's some pictures for aid

Like all the others said, connect the monitor to your GPU.

to the gpu. its there for a reason
