GC working in lol but not benchmarks?

asiancorruption

I just got a laptop and it has the AMD r9m275 2gb. I can play lol max everything at 70fps but when i run heaven benchmark i can't get 30fps without going to 720 everything turned off. is this a problem with the chip or is the switchable graphics putting the igpu to work instead of the AMD gpu?

Are you running Valley with Vsync on? That caps the framerate to 30fps.

also, make sure that your iGPU is either turned off (not sure if possible in laptops, probably not) or make sure it's the default for all your games.

I really don't know what's going on tbh, those kinds of framerates are what a 7660G gets, and that's an APU graphics processor.

That gpu isn't too powerful and the heaven benchmark is pretty demanding...

Edit: forgot about the 30fps cap...

Well LoL isn't exactly the most demanding game ever. Compared to the Heaven Benchmark, it's normal that you don't get as high a frame rate.

I still wasn't expecting 12fps on 1080p low lmao. Still the best thing i could get for $750 can. I'm probably only going to be playing csgo and typing out essays so i guess it's  pretty decent for what i paid for.
