Decided to go Skylake from X99 as I decided I don't need 6 cores for what I am doing !

Is the AF120 LED fans a better choice than the stock H100i GTX fans ? Would prefer it to be not too loud(I am not the type to find a whisper super loud)

The SSD and 2TB HDD is going to be used for windows (My Media and Gaming OS)
The 1TB HDD is gonna be a hackintosh drive where I will be doing productivity like MS office and School Projects
I want to test Mac OS and experience it

read my cpu and gpu overclocking guide; links are in my forum signature

edit:

overall, good build. very expensive though. you could cut costs down to get x2 980's in sli, which would perform better than a single 980 ti

edit:

i would definitely cut costs down to get x2 980's in sli if you want to play at 1440p with max settings and if you want to get over 60 fps

For radiators, You need SP variants. Just stick with stock fans.

550$ for a cpu

Pls don't get the 6700k at that price

You are using so many expensive parts, you could shave ~500$ off easily and have more ssd and a better PC ( GO X99 IF YOU YOU WANT SLI 980 TI )

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

Why?

I wanted to add AF Led fans

It would be in an Air Flow optimized situation. So it won't be an issue if what you meant was less airflow

Static Pressure fans are fans that are for CPU coolers and radiators along with any other place that has airflow restrictions (it has a lesser air flow performance, but when it comes to radiators and CPU coolers, it performs better than air flow optimized fans). Static pressure fans have a focused flow.

Believe me, you don't need much fans :) I currently have in my s340 case 2 AF140 (total 25€) and two stock fans. I bought LEDs from e bay for 5$ so, don't worry, you'll have the money for that extra stuff :D

And also I've made you x99 build cheaper than your Z170 build so...

Really. When you say you won't need 6 cores, why won't you pick better parts for better price? I don't understand the dilema xD

SMS,

I don't know for certain, but I think getting your stuff from a German sources might save you money on shipping costs.

You'll need to investigate this more.

Here's my recommended computer build. The build is based on German vendors and uses the Euro currency.

The Radeon Fury graphics card are excellent for gaming and heavy duty computing.

Not sure why you picked out a WD RE HDD. The WD RE HDD lines are used for NAS, not for power computing. That's why I picked the WD Black series which are designed for power computing. The WD Blue HDD is fine for what you are planning to do with it.

I picked out an air flow based Noctua CPU cooler because it does an excellent job of cooling the CPU and it's quieter than liquid based CPU cooling systems due to no noisy pumps.

Selected a NZXT white full size computer case with noise suppression features. It also has great cable management.

The computer case is well designed to accommodate many different types of user requirements.

Look at the pictures of the computer case in the link shown in the build list.

I chose WD greens for my 2tb hdd(I couldn't find it on PCPP)

I don't really need dead silence

I am going for a blue and white theme thus i went for the the 760t

H100i GTX has a beautiful looking cpu block with RGB lighting and that's the reason I went for it(I am stuck b/w the kraken x61 and this one)

1000w PSU is for future Dual GPU set up and maybe custom liquid cooling loop

NCIX prices are really low !

I don't want extreme speed

I am considering Dual Fury's but I want a Sapphire Vapor version for the blue color

I want Blue RAM and g.skill one isgood

I am buying everything from NCIX
