This post is pretty silly, as is getting a 4690k and then a 960 instead of a cheaper i5 and a 970, but that's another topic.

It will run, i doubt it'll be playeable at max. Normal/high should be fin.

Going to upgrade both sooner or later and normal is too low for me but i know my computer cant handle max, so im going to hope i can run it at high at the very least.

A: no need to upgrade that i5-4690k. Is it overclock it.

B: if you upgrade the GPU get a R9 390

C: My system runs Shadow of Mordor at medium settings 60-90FPS. ( My system is WAY WORSE then yours. )

I don't trust that website. Says I can't run a bunch of games like Shadow of Mordor for example, yet I run it 60-90ish FPS.

You don't need to upgrade your i5, just your gpu and you'll play whatever u want maxed out in 1080p

I know.. I know... waiting for the funds for a good LGA 1150 i7-4xxx(k) something to use in my PC MATE build ("Secondary Rig" in signature). I admit my mistake in buying the 8350 when I did, but I was far less knowledged than I am now ;)

EDIT: or Xeon, I am a heavy virtualization user, in the case you were questioning the i7.

Haha, people like you don't bother me. It's the people who swear up and down AMD CPUs are better.

I don't question people ocerkilling some parts like the CPU or gpu. If you can afford it, get it. Unless someone is getting a 18 core.xeon for a gaming build or 32GBs of ram when they don't need it ect ect

I used to be one of those people, before I learned about IPC, and that the 8-core AMD processors are 4 core, 4 thread in reality. Even Win10 says so!
