Phantom pain FOV mod.

So we finally have a fov mod for phantom pain. I was a bit wary about downloading this file as chrome said it may harm my pc, but plenty of people on reddit have tried it and it's fine so I gave it a go and it works great.

I have mine set to 95. I didn't really mind the default fov but when crouched or crawling it went really close.

Just unzip the files to your phantom pain .exe directory and edit the cfg file to what ever you want.

Edit, also if you want to unlock your framerate then go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\181945646\287700\local open TPP_GRAPHICS_CONFIG with notepad and change framerate from auto to variable. This will unlock it completely from 60. If you change any graphics settings ion game then it will reset this tweak.

This on 1440p? Game looks nice. 

Nope just 1080p. Also framerate is completely unlocked. I get dips to 55 on 1440p which is quite noticeable..

Just lower a setting or two.... Looks much better in 1440p. :P

The framerate is totally locked, you cannot get over 60

Does the increased FOV in anyway affect the FPS? I still get drops every now and then just due to the particle effects from something like the guns or when I jump on the floor and the dust cloud that results makes my frame rate drop to like 45FPS.

Thanks for the info. The crouched FOV gave me a headache.

Yep, it was pretty bad. Especially whilst in a box.
