what are the temps?

if they are normal then I think your "sizzling" noise is just microbubbles going through the pump

mounting the radiator vertically fixed that noise

Not normal, take the cooler off of your system and run it without being on the MOBO and see if you see any leaks or here the noise still. Sometimes the pump can make a ssss ssss noise but that is not leaking it is the air in the pump. If you hear the noise while the pump is out of the system just give ti a slight tap to see if you can dislodge the air trapped in the pump.

that "sizzling" noise you hear is likely cavitation caused by small air bubbles left in the system , mount your rad high , should get rid of it , or if you have a bleed port , bleed them out

Got to it before me, i have a large AIO and i when i lay the system on its side you heard the liquid flow in a similar manner

Troubleshooting a pc will make you believe in gremlins.
