Go to solution Solved by _ASSASSIN_,

I would recommend going with 2 if you plan on getting a 1080p monitor later on

I have a 1240x1080 monitor. How much vram will I need to play high settings on games. I was looking at a 7850 with 1gb of ram. Thanks for any help.

Just 1GB, depending on how much AA you use.

1GB if you continue to use your monitor, 2GB if you intend on getting a 1080p monitor.

1gb but if the difference isn't too much, I'd get the 2gb card just in case you change monitors
