Well I will start off by telling you all that this is nothing fancy.

 

   i5 4670k

   MSI Z87-G43

   Sapphire Radeon HD 7950

   Kingston SSDNow 120GB

   Seagate Barracuda 1TB

   G. Skill Ripjaw X Series 8GB

   Seasonic 620W 80 Plus Bronze

   Some Cougar case fans

   TP-Link WN881ND (have to replace it with a 5GHz one in a couple days)

   Asus PB238Q

   Cooler Master Storm Scout 2

   Some crappy Lightscribe from a computer I had someone make me 5 years ago.

 

 

I already had the Steelseries Sensei, Ducky DK9087, Qck Heavy, and the crappy speakers you will see also :)

 

Case is ready to go (this was while I was waiting for my parts to arrive that day :) )

Good to see you have a Ducky.

I watched Grubby use one for too long to not get one myself. I'm just sad I didn't get the green one because that sold out within a half hour of the online store as soon as they came in stock.

How has the transition from Mac OSX to windows been? 

Also the sytem looks great

I'm definitely going modular next time lol

If there's any features you miss on a Mac (personally I still use a macbook pro for university), there are many programs created to basically do what mac did, for example, I used an app on mac called Alfred, and when I use my PC I missed having its functionality, so I looked for a replacement and found an open source program called Launchy :)

As a person who also uses mac os, I miss the terminal and unix's permission system in windows.

There weren't any major apps I can think of that I used. Most trouble I'm having right now is probably the SSD/HD issue but I think I've beat it :D

Also I still hit CMD + _ ...gotta get used to hitting control more :D

You don't need a modular PSU to have good cable management. Just some tie wraps and patience ;)

Great choice on the keyboard and the monitor.  seeing others with those make me happy. 

I really wanted a ducky and finally bought one a couple months ago. I freaking love this keyboard.

I did have patience but my father didn't, I had to hurry up at that point and get out of the garage because there was a garage sale the next day :O  It would have been easier though if I had less cables. My case barely shuts on that side...although not properly.

and why the G43 ? the G45 looks waay better and the GD55 hasn't the brown pcb  :mellow:

The outside of the antistatic bag is not antistatic and yeah dont place your new and shiny motherboard or whatever on top of the outside of it!

I just checked and the GD55 has brown pcb...also I kinda liked the blue theme I had but I didn't need many of the features of more expensive mobos, I just wanted a relatively cheap one since I probably won't even SLI/Crossfire.

Just a little update, I pulled out the cd/dvd drive and tidied up my cables a bit better so I could actually close that side of the case properly.
