Should: Sometimes quieter, although some pumps are REALLY loud.

Shouldn't: Worse price/performance and for the price of a decent AiO, you can get an NH-D15 which is better than nearly all AiOs on the market

Unless your doing mass overclocking, your fine with say a hyper 212 evo. I have an overclocked 4790k on air, and it never goes above 65 celcius

As others have put it, you do just fine on air. I wouldn't ever waste money on those All in Ones, unless its expandabe.  Hyper 212 or TX3 Will do just great, and there both under $35.

Only water cool really if you want massive overclocks, Like the look of a custom loop, or just more money than brains. Just My opinion.

MOBO: ASUS X79 Pro CPU: i7 3820 Ram: Corsair Vengence 32Gb 2133mhz (8x4) GPU: 2 x Sapphire R9 290 in X-fire PSU: Seasonic G series 750w Drives: 1 x 750 gig WD black, 3x WD Black 1TB, 1 x Segate Barrcuda 1 TB, 1 x Toshiba 2TB, Intel 520 240gig SSD Case: Enthoo Primo w/ Green and Blue LED lighting.

212 Evo isn't worth the money anymore. The bandwagon has gone to far.

A BeQuiet! Pure Rock is better in every way.

Obviously fake, obviously a troll.

Which is why I'm bringing it up; fake, or troll, benchmarks shouldn't be posted in a thread where someone is asking a genuine question about different products...

Pro : cooling performance, exhausts heat outside the case instead of inside.

Con : pump noise/reliability, price

Point taken, But not bandwagoning (if thats even a real word). I have used both. And for the price, they ( 212/Evo and the TX3[which i still have]) worked just great for the price. Like I said, just my opinion.

It is the bandwagon for 95% of the people who reccodmend it.

Let me out this out there, it's not a bad cooler. It's just BETTER and NEWER CPU cooler have come out for the $35 price.

BeQuiet, RAJINTEK, Cryorig, ect have all come out with better ones.
