Sound From Xbox & PC Though One Headset

I currently Have My Audio-Technica ATH-M50X plugged into my pc and using a Zalman ZMMIC1 Lapel Microphone and i have a Xbox 360/One connected to one of my monitors i use for my pc and the sound comes out of that for it.

I would like to be able to talk and hear skype on pc but hear the xbox sound aswell though the same headphones.

I have seen that this can be done using a Astro Gaming MixAmp By connecting your headphones to the amp and then a 3.5mm and usb to pc and a digital optical to the xbox. But the amp is very expensive and i wanted to know if there was a cheaper amp or any other/better ways to do it.

Any help would be greatly Appreciated.

Plug a 3.5mm cable from your XBox one controller into the Line In port on your PC, and select (in audio) the line in so that you can listen to it at all times. I used to do this with my phone for music.
