I have a bad feeling about the R9 Fury Nano...

PlayStation 2

250+ hah, nice amd fanboy edit.

I know 480 sucked, you don't have to keep pointing that out, but it's one card. Since then Nvidia is cool and power efficient.

See the last edit?

Yeah, August 28th.

Calling someone a fanboy doesn't make you look better. It makes you look arrogant.

I don't know about you, but in my world less is still less. 30W is like two laptops worth of power.

Titan-X already bye bye with the released of 980Ti and Fury-X. imo.

Well. yeah...but they don't really beat it, they match it. If there is a card that noticebly beats the Titan X at the same price point, that would be like the final nail on the coffin

it's still more, how can you keep defending something like that. I haven't even brought up the fact that 80% of AMD cards are rebranded old chips. Well now you see I did, what have you done.

And we're not gonna talk about the 770, the 950 being a shamelessly gimped 960, anything below a 750, I can go on.

770 is a rebrand done right. It went one tier down as a card and the price drop was huge. How about 290x>390x for increased price?

Low tier rebrands are explained by the fact that no one in their right mind buys low tier cards anyway so making them is pointless.

they don't, not in power/fps. They beat Nvidia in price since AMD sells their cards dirt cheap and runs itself into bankrupt.

R7 265 is odd though.

270 and 270X are gross

My friend bought a 640 because she cannot afford anything above that. Does that make her crazy? No, that makes her prefer to eat that month rather than buy a 750.

770 is RAM starved. and the 780 is the same as a Titan but with some stuff disabled.

it wasn't a bad card when it came out. it handles 1080p perfectly. Don't even talk about skyrim mods, because they are MODS. 0 optimization.

that's not a rebrand, just same generation cards with different specs. AMD does that too.

The R9 290 had a launch price of 400$, the 390 is 330$, they are admitting that the 390 is not the equivalent of what the 290 was, that's the 390X, and the equivalent of the 290X is the Fury, so it is very similar to what nvidia did, they just messed up the naming scheme to clarify that the 390/X are no longer the highest end cards, and the release prices support that.

What the fuck are you talking about. I am talking about 7970>280x and 290x>390x, new generation cards, same performance, higher price. That's a rebrand.

When 680 was rebranded into 770 it jumped a tier down AND got price cut by 40%.
