Need to replace power supply

Go to solution Solved by DarkBlade2117,

Here's you choices. You picked s pretty solid one.

EVGA B2 GS G2 T2 P2 or PS

Any XFX power supply

Any SeaSonic Power supply

Any SuperFlower power supply. Minimum 650w, 850w ideally.

Well my cheapo 550w power supply (came with case) finally gave out and I am in the market for a new one.

Currently I narrowed it down to 2 (its on sale)

newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153198  80 plus gold $79

http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=98820&vpn=110-B2-0850-V1&manufacture=eVGA&promoid=1021 80 plus bronze $89

Ideally my budget is $50-80 possibly $100-max but I can't justify splurging that amount of cash for a basic gaming build.

My system is a i3 SB w/750ti gpu, I plan to upgrade to either a 4690k or 4790k cpu and maybe get a gtx 970.

I don't plan on SLI but I do use dual monitors.

Tourmaline plates,

The EVGA is far superior. Get that.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I recommend Corsair power supplies, there is no EVGA in my country so I can't give an opinion on that

Corsair has good PSU's but they are overpriced.

Get an EVGA gold rated 650watt PSU. Corsair have good PSU's, but mind the CX series, they're not good for high/mid tier builds.
