My spec is in the signature. I have both 970's running at stock and my cpu is also at stock, with stock cooler atm. I play games at 1440p 144hz and they are super hot, like my room feels like hell rn literally lol. is there anyway to cool it down a little? and no, stop playing video is not an option.  Maybe if I adjust the gpu fan curve, its at auto right now.

You need some better airflow, two GPUs can get HOT.

Otherwise, you'll have to get a window unit. :I

Sli usually run pretty hot. The top gpu is the hottest, because it's pulling the hot air from the second card.

If it's the CPU, get a better heatsink like the 212 evo,

Thats cute, he said his system specs were in his sig.

It is being cooled with an AIO.

OT: Do you know what the temps on your components are, they could be running hotter than they should.

That being said, the heat is just being removed from your PC and put into your room. Depending where you are, you can crack open a window, crank the AC, or put a fan in your doorway to promote air circulation.

You should get aftermarket CPU cooler anyway. i7+stock isn't best option. Even the cheapest scale with 212 evo and Pure Rock is better. But to whole rooms temps it has little effect. You need to get air conditioning or window to get that in order.

If it's airflow problem i'll recommend :

1.Mount your ssd and hdd on the drive cage below ( leave the middle for better airflow to the gpu)
2.Install intake 3 fans on the front side
3.Install a bottom fan for intake from the botton to the gpu

Your h110i should be mounted on top with it exhausting setup already i guess...

  1. Get better fans for your case
  2. Open a window
  3. Kill the batman
  4. Reset CMO.... nevermind...

make yourself a fan mount to aim a fan at the hot running cards, that helps alot.

Fans will only move hot air if the ambient temps are hot, he states his room is like hell so opening a window will be his best course of action. Fans don't cool air they only push it.
