scan your computer for any type of malware

scanned. his computer turned up to have no viruses

I would backup any important info you have. That looks like corrupted data and means your hard drive or ssd may be about to fail.

my dad 'the owner of the computer i am looking at'

has a 2 terabyte backup drive that he plugs in and backs up his entire computer every 3-5 days... i told him its stupid and useless but he insists "WHAT IF MY 20 MEGABYTES OF PICTURES AND FILES IS STOLENZ????" i told him back only thoes fiels and he said it was 2 complicated 4 him

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

also why tf would that have anything to do with this

Those kinds of sites usually contain malware, they can, and often will inject malware onto your system without you ever downloading anything, even a quick visit can get your PC infected.

If you have a proper anti-malware/virus program then you shouldn't need to worry.

Also, those files could be nothing, if you are not seeing any issues with the OS then it could be leftover files from uninstalled programs, or leftover files from media creation programs.... Basically some programs create temp files when if they create large files, this is done so that the entire file doesn't need to be loaded to RAM. Sometimes the program will fail to delete those files properly.

Spoiler

Case Bitfenix Ghost, Mobo Asus Maximus VIII Ranger, CPU i7 6700K @4.2 Ghz cooled by Arctic cooling Freezer i30, (barely). GPU Nvidia GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 @1519Mhz core, RAM 16Gb Crucial Ballistix CL16 @2400Mhz. SSD 128GB Sandisk Ultra Plus as my OS drive. HDD's  1TB  Seagate ST31000524AS its OEM, 3TB Seagate Barracuda, 2x 500GB WDC Blue (RAID 0)

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.

Looks like system files.  Probably nothing to worry about really.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!
