So like my friend comes over to test a computer I have for him.  He doesn't have a lot of money and I came across a dell for really cheap.  I cleaned it up, put windows on it, added an SSD and a video card for him and was asking $225.00 for it.  I have 225 in it and he LOVED it, it played Crysis 3 on medium-low detail at 1080p, above 30 FPS mostly.  He started to take it with him and I asked for the money.  "He's like ya I get paid on the 1st (disability despite not being disabled) and I'll get you the money then."  I explained to him that I make 1/3 of what him and his wife does (also on disability but she's paralyzed) and that I need my money for books.  He's just very bad with money and smokes like way too much weed.  I cannot wait until September 1st as my books USED cost over 300 and I make like $900/month from this part time internship.  So he got mad and left, but really???  I am super annoyed right now as now I need to find another buyer, I totally might let it go on craigslist/eBay.

Okay, so what exactly is the problem?

Just annoyed that I got it set up ready to sell to him rather than put it on eBay just to find out he didn't have the money.  I loaded ALL the programs he wanted and also took down an auction I had up for memory because he wanted that too, but now I have to put it back up.

Something tells me this is something other than computers...

you just never wanted to be friends with him anyway,

sell it on craigslist and never be friends with him again, or wait till he has the money and have a friend to lean on...

I mean, just tell him like it is.  You can't wait until September and if you can't get the money up front, he's not getting the PC.

I'm sure if he's really a friend he'll understand your circumstances.

And I always knew people on this forum like Ducky but this is a bit of a stretch...

Try to sell the PC on ebay/return the stuff?

Unfortunately the world is filled with smart dicks that rule the world and we have to deal with the stupid dicks day-to-day.
