Just watched MKBHD's video on the "perfrect" smartphone, and i agree that every phone has a critical flaw. So if you could design the "perfect phone", what would its specs be?

For me, i have an idea for the perfect phone for gaming:

5 inch 720p screen (max performance and battery life)

4GB RAM

Snapdragon 820 (with a 720p screen it will be future-proof)

dual JBL front stereo speakers

Stock Android Marshmallow

128GB storage and MicroSD

23MP rear Exmor RS camera with front 13MP camera (both 4K capable)

3700mAh battery

water and dustproof

$450 price tag

Current Rig:   CPU: AMD 1950X @4Ghz. Cooler: Enermax Liqtech TR4 360. Motherboard:Asus Zenith Extreme. RAM: 8GB Crucial DDR4 3666. GPU: Reference GTX 970  SSD: 250GB Samsung 970 EVO.  HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 2TB. Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro. PSU: Corsair RM1000X. OS: Windows 10 Pro UEFI mode  (installed on SSD)

Peripherals:  Display: Acer XB272 1080p 240Hz G Sync Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB Brown Mouse: Logitech G502 RGB Headhet: Roccat XTD 5.1 analogue

The OnePlus One without the touchscreen problems on Android 4.4.4 with Cyanogenmod, and a GPS chip that doesn't suck. This would be perfect for me :D

PC SPECS: CPU: Intel Core i7 3770k @4.4GHz - Mobo: Asrock Extreme 4 (Z77) - GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 680 Twin Frozr 2GB - RAM: Crucial Ballistix 2x4GB (8GB) 1600MHz CL8 + 1x8GB - Storage: SSD: Sandisk Extreme II 120GB. HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB - PSU: be quiet! Pure Power L8 630W semi modular  - Case: Corsair Obsidian 450D  - OS: Windows 7

I like my M7 a lot and the only thing i would change about it is storage expansion and rear camera.Beside those for me at least is the perfect phone

Beware of him that is slow to anger; for when it is long coming, it is the stronger when it comes, and the longer kept. Abused patience turns to fury.

4" 1080p (I have fairly large hands, want a small phone anyways)
At least 3000Mah battery
Snapdragon 810 (less thermal throttling IIRC)
Don't care about sound or camera
FM reciever
IR (for TV controll)
At least 16 GB storage

That's about it I think.

If this phone exist, please tell me.

And a hefty price tag. I don't use my phone so much that I can justify that. It's a bit large too.

To me the perfect phone would be the HTC ONE M8 with a 4K camera. a Huge battery life, Xperia Z series type water resistance, a good CPU with low temps and high speeds, ps3 level gaming ability, fingerprint scanner, Android with iOS level simplicity and PC level customization, all topped with a whopping price tag of $500

(Extra storage would be welcome too)

But the following innovations might be something a mid-end smartphone can offer in 2025 I guess

I do want HTC to build the phone i specified above though

MacBook Pro 13" Mid 2012 w/Core i5 3210M and glorious HD 4000 Graphics

Design of an iPhone 5s (I really like the simplistic look of it.) Insane CPU. Long battery life. 4k screen and high quality camera that can shoot at 4k. 128gb storage. You could switch between iOS and Android. And a price tag of 100$ lmao :D
