Hey yo guys, so i was going to clean my laptops fan, but it got ESD damage. Now that im building a new PC idk if i should pay someone for building it or if i sould build it anyways???

Tnx dawg :P  :P  :P

I'm part of a business that can build it for you but I can't give you links because CoC :P

Just wear an anti-static strap if you're very concerned. Plug in your PSU, make sure it's sitting in your case and is set to ON and attach the strap to your case.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

You can do it man, just ground yourself, either keep one hand on your power supply, dont stand on carpets, or buy an antistatic wrist strap and/or mat on amazon for like $10, I think its worth it. :)

nah just take your clothes off

removes a huge % of getting static electricity

why? b/c i build 4 computers without shirt/pants just me and my undies and  a handy dandy screwdriver

of course! how could I forget the most important step of them all? take off all your clothes and make sure you do it outside, or at least where theres a lot of light, or else your get super static from the dark particles. no, honestly as long as you have your bare feet on a wood or stone floor, or you're grounded with a wrist strap attached to the case or power supply, you'll be fine. and honestly if your worried a local computer place could build it for you if you just buy the parts and ask them nicely, usually they will tell you the extra $50 or less. its never that much and usually you can get a warranty with it./
