Hello!

I'm building my first PC and i need some advice and recommendation, i am semi familiar with the components and building process by watching tons of Linus videos on YouTube and i really want my own build then to buy from the store and i am on a tight budget of 1000 Euro 1100 max! so this should make my PC less expensive and more powerful i will use it mainly for games and some Photoshop. Anyway from all i could gather and with few personal choices i made a list of parts and i need to know if what i chose is optimal and if i need to change something and overall recommendations will be highly appreciated.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690k  / I heard its great for gaming and can be overclocked easy i wont do much of video editing so i wont benefit from Core i7 and multithreading.

CPU CoolerTacens MARS Gaming MCPU2 or Cooler Master hyper 212 Evo /  I know the 212 Evo is little better and they are the same price 30 Euro here but the MCPU2 just going to look really good with the rest of the build that's why i consider to buy that.

MotherboardMSI z97 gaming 3  / I like how it looks and and i don't know the difference between Gaming "3" and "5" but cheaper "3" support Crossfire and overclocking and that's all i need, will allow me to upgrade with 2nd Video Card later on.

RAMKingston HyperX Fury Red DDR3 1866MHz PC3-12800 2x4GB  / I don't know if its better to put 2x8GB or stick with 2x4BG simply because i want to cut the money somehow and when i have extra ill put 2 more 2x4GB and with 16GB i wont have problem at lest that how i see it for me.

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM

SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 2.5 240GB  / Its the cheapest 240GB i could find.

Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 390   / First i was going for GTX 970 but then i read about it and the VRAM issue at the same time i come across the R9 390 at the same price with 8GB and later games might take advantage of all that VRAM and i don't know if i understand that correctly but putting 2nd card don't doble the VRAM so the 970 might lack on VRAM in later games with R9 390 would be ok, and the only complain i sow about it was the drivers but seeng its new card the drivers will come if they din't already, also i found that Crossfire Motherboards are cheaper then SLI compatible this let me save some money on Motherboard

Case: NZXT S340 Red  / "Stuff that doesn't suck" and actually fit in my budget thanks Linus!

Power Supply: CX 600W CORSAIR BUILDER V2 80+ BRONZE ATX.EPS12V  / I run a power supply calculator and i included that i will overclock the CPU and GPU and it was recommended 600W for my build i know ill have to update it when i put 2nd video card but that wont be soon and i need to save money i just hope 600W is enough for overclocking the CPU and GPU maybe someone could tell me because as i said its my first PC and i have no clue.

Monitor: Here i need some recommendations all i know is that i need IPS 22-23 Inch 1080p if anyone can recommend me any for around 150 Euro or 160$ cheaper better!

Keyboard: Here again no idea but i am looking for cheapest Cherry MX Red

Mouse: No clue for Mouse need something cheap good and for someone with big hands, Wireless is a BIG + for me i don't play FPS or competitive gaming but i don't want to jump at the first store and crab crappy mouse also  :)

Solid build. But I would suggest a different PSU. Anything but the CX series

Nice build for the provided budget, again just get a different power supply. I would strongly recommend EVGA's power supplies. Other than that nothing else needs changed! :D

I have the same question. So, I have a PC build I plan to get, and I was hoping to get some advice on my build and if there are any recommendations, or if something is complete crap, and I should change it. My intentions for this build is to play most or all games at max settings at 1440p while staying below $1700. Also I have to ask if I should go for water cooling too as a huge priority, or should I get it later down the road? Anyways.. The specs are as follows:

Here is the link, I don't have time to write it all out: pcpartpicker.com/p/GtC9mG

Thanks in advance!

All i can recommend is changing the GTX 970 4GB with MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB due to the more VRAM now is fine for all the games with 4GB but later games might need more and actually the GTX is with 3.5GB and 0.5BG-slower memory or something but i'm not so sure how that works.
