For those in the workforce -

Do you every struggle with feeling like you didn't do a good enough job, even after working 10hr days?

I'm trying to pinpoint why I feel this way in my job. I am mostly attributing it to the fact my "manager" doesn't know what I do, and does not help me prioritize/set due dates etc. So, I never feel like I accomplished what I should for the day despite working 10hrs+, because I don't know what really should have been accomplished? Especially after i then look and know I still have tons to work on.

Does that make sense?

I get no recognition but I usually feel good about my job though I'm barely above the UK's national minimum wage. Regarding you I think it makes sense, occasionally I feel the same way after working my arse off.

well are you getting paid? underpaid? if not then they honestly should bother. you'be been raised differently im guessing by people who contragulate you on your small to large achievements?

Probably udnerpaid. I'm on salary, so, it's difficult to gauge the work:compensation ratio at times. This also attributes to "when do I stop working each day without feeling like I didnt get enough done". I dont have a set schedule, and I work from home.

Not really, most of my life and work has been be just doing my own thing. I just like being able to get stuff done and check them off a list. I like to get stuff done. When i'm constantly being asked to do more things by multiple people...it's hard to know when to stop at the end of the day without feeling like I'm not getting enough done.

I'd say feeling like that is natural. People critique themselves harder than anyone else would, so you're naturally going to put more pressure on yourself.

What do they know of England, who only England know?

because that feeling stems from the lack of the managerial train of the manager.

the team must be fortified with guidance and leadership, without it, they'd fail. thus

constant reinforcement of team unity, output and accessibility (which from your

description does not exist) should be the manager's concern. instead, it sounds

more like micromanagement (small bites to forward the goal). and usually, that

style works, till the manager consistently fails (blaming the underlings).
