the PSU can be cheapened, although I would stick with it personally

also you can find cheaper SSD's and RAM if you want to cut down on that
if you go with a really good aircooler such as the Darkrock Pro 2 or the Noctua NF14, you can get even better preformance than the H100i for a cheaper price, although you might want to watch out if you are getting high-profile ram

Cheaper 750w PSU, Cheaper 16GB RAM... I can't really recommend much since I don't know what stores you can buy parts from, and I don't know how much those parts costs at those stores.

Yeah. Your budget/currency/region would help.

4670k suggests gaming.

16gb ram suggests more than gaming.

If for gaming only, no need for ram.

UD3H can be cheapened.

h100i isn't necessary, but as you were very specific about no overclocking loss, keep it, idk, this is a hard thing to ask.

You lose overclocking by going with haswell, and both 1155 and 1150 are dead sockets.

Go for the 3770k or 3570k if you'r only gaming (games can't leverage hyper threaded threads)

1tb barracuda

msi z77a gd45 or gd65

nh-d14

8gb (only if you're only going to be gaming)

99% of people who say they'll add another card for sli in the future don't. So go for a 600w psu and you'll have plenty of headroom for overclocking.

16Gb ram is a little overkill if you're making this for gaming. Also, I personally like the

Coolermaster R400 case, though it does lack the Window.

For PSU, the http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cx750m

The CX750 is on sale for a steal, and it's modular.

1Tb black isn't needed when you have an SSD. Drop to a Barracuda or WD Green. I use a green for boot and my computer is plenty quick.

16GB is proven to lengthen the life of an SSD, gaming or not, it would be smart of him to have it

I really think it doesn't matter. a 840 is a solid SSD> Not going to make back $80 difference.

I think I know what he's talking about.  About like 2 weeks ago i saw an article about how ram is cached for programs in windows 7 and 8.  And like, in windows 8 it does it like super well, and since you will access your SSD a lil less, it will last longer.  So like more ram, means more programs being stored in ram to be used if you use them a lot. I think that's right anyway :)

My PC: CPU: I7-2600K CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Evo, Mother Board: MSI Z77 Mpower, Ram: 4x4GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Corsair Vengeance (Black), Case: HAF 932, PSU: CM GX 650 (Upgrading to RM750 soon), SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 120GB SSD, HD:  750GB Seagate 7200 RPM, Optical: Samsung Blu-ray burner, GPU: MSI GTX 560 TI Twin Frozr (Upgrading to an HD R9-290X on launch)

That's very interesting indeed. Especially given I have lots of free ram for my pc to use but it's never really utilized :3 I will have to look it up.

I asked for the link only because it sounded bogus ;P

PS: If we're still hanging around the forum by next year I'll get you to help me out with my formal/deb attire :D
