1080 or 4k

I have a MSI R9 390. Should I get a 1080 144Hz display or a 4k 6Hz display. In my countri their price is similar and Im not sure what will perform better.

4k, 1440p ultrawide at 60hz= casual pretty graphics gamer

I don't think a 390 is going to push 4k

I would advise getting a 1080p 144hz or a 1440p IPS 60hz

You could live with 4k then.

And don't imply that any CoD doesn't have a framelock.

It doesn't HAVE to be all on ultra to get a good experience... besides it won't push 144fps at 1080p either with those settings.

What kind of display do you have now and what would you like better?

Usually better image quality would be my choice --> high res  large ips Monitor.

 

Reducing the imput lag by an almost unnoticable amount isnt really worth sacrificing image quality in my opinion,

except  of course you play competetively.
