Hey guys, I am trying to find a mic arm stand for my bm700 and bm800 mics that I will be switching to and from. I bought some stands from amazon and so far, none of them has had a tightening knob on the end of the stand that connects to the mic. I need a mic stand that has the tightening knob on the mic end of the stand. But it's price cant be above $20 on amazon

An example of what should have had it is this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WO6MTAW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=od_aui_detailpages00

Thanks for the help!!!!

my friend used one of those big desk lamp, took off the light part, mounted the bottom to his desk and was able to clamp his Snowball with the stand upside down to the end of the lamp stand (where the light would be)

If you have one in your attic or whatever that you are not using, you could try this (if your mic would be able to clamp onto it)

Could you link/post a picture so I can see what you mean?

don't have a pic of how he made it, but he had one of these lamps laying around:

And he took off the lamp, it's cord and the base.

Mounted his mic on the top with the top half of he stand:

And mounted the the bottom with screw to his esk.

Will try to get a picture from him
