Windows Problem

So I have the windows 8.1 enterprise evaluation build 9600 64bit os. It says I have 20 hours left for a valid windows license, how do I fix this? I've a;ready reset it once and now its doing it again. Is there a way to permanenetly fix this?

i didnt get  a package i just downloaded windows from the website after i bought it onto a flash drive

where would the windows licens key be in that situation?

if you werent ripped off, they should have mentioned a key somewhere.

You can't buy Retail Enterprise builds (they don't technically exist) with single use licenses off of Microsoft's website. I'll just let it sink in. You have to call to place an order for an enterprise build, or order via their business services page. And by the way, Enterprise builds can only be activated by MAK (or KMS), not RETAIL keys.

 

But if you somehow did buy it, you can recover the key via contacting customer support, or by using this page: http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/DisplayHelpContactUsPage/

 

and clicking "Find my product Key".

Enterprise didn't just magically appear out of thin air on your PC. You had it installed (somehow), you even stated in the OP that you had already reset the grace period for activation once before. I won't speculate.

 

But to install the Core version of Windows 8.1, you'll need to clean install. No upgrading/Downgrading is possible, so backup everything you need.
