I thought the serbia v2 was a USB headset, meaning you can't use a sound card (there is a analog version, get that)

eh, nothing that I can think of that can beat the price

 

Some versions are USB, the standard is not.

my friend had a siberia v2, the cable went bad about 6 months later. Just be careful with the cables if you buy one. (im not sure how rough he was with it)

If you want to stretch your dollar in favor of audio performance, get a separate headphone and mic.
