School Laptop, Help Pls!

jsirius

Hey everybody, so I am starting school soon and just now realized that one of my classes has required software. (I know, should have researched better ahead of time blah blah...). SO I need to find a laptop that can run Solidworks 2015, looks like it needs windows 7 (8 preferred), 64 bit, and preferably 8gb of ram. Was considering a Lenovo G50 with an AMD A8 in it, starts with 4gb of ram but upgradeable to 8.

Any other suggestions? I am also buying books currently so I am looking in the 300ish price range or less.

Thanks!!

So, signatures are a thing. How does one do them? Is this right?

You are most likely not going to get that sort of specs for less than 300$/€/£ , I'll have a look around. Where are you, So I know where to look.

I have an i5 and many other things

Do you mind if it is refurbished? I have found a lot of good (refurbished) laptops in your price range.

Seems decent it has 8gb RAM, i5 3320m, 256gb SSD (You are better of upgrading that if you need more space).

thank you for the lookup sir, I appreciate it a lot. Looks like a good deal, specs are in line with what I should need. Now if school was only less expensive lol... At least I can get half the books I need and the laptop right now. Still got a couple weeks to finish getting books together.

Anyways, appreciate the help again!
