Oh yeah I read that wrong.. but I got it fixed, I just had a broken hdmi cable so I got a new one and it's working again!

Hi!

I got this annoying problem today where my screen would just crash when playing cs go. It just goes black for couple of seconds and then my monitor crashes. When this happens I can hear all the sounds and stuff. I've had my monitor overclocked to 75hz for a month now without a problem but I think this might be one thing causing the crashes. I (kinda) solved the crashing problem with turning my monitor back to 60hz but now there are some horrible screen tears. Whenever I look up and down there is a big wave going up and down my screen lol. This also screen ''wave'' happens in left4dead too.. :(

I would completely uninstall your video drivers and reinstall them,

That could possibly fix the problem but it creates this annoying lag in csgo also it worked well before these screen crashes happened..

You may as well, try everything, sometimes it can be the simplest things hey..up to you.

The wave effect is because the default fps cap of 300 can be divided into 60, change your fps cap to remove it.

 

The Console command is fpsmax, zero is no cap

I alrerady have this at 70 as I'm now using 70 hz but it didn't fix it

I meant fps_max, and you're doing the same thing again, 70 fps can be divided into your refresh rate of 70, causing the wave affect.
