How would a less than 16 year old in North York (Toronto) go about acquiring a job?

ask around for jobs that people need doing and offer to do them cheap.

Pretty much. When I was 14 I went around and asked people if they needed their yard mowed.

Legal working age where I live in 14, so I had a weekend job since then :P

You could be a babysitter. Not for everyone but it'd put money in your pocket. Sometimes you get lucky and have absolute angels to look after.

I'm not good with kids at all. even though im a kid myself. 

Stay on this forum for a while, say a year, and once you've learned a metric buttload of stuff about computers you could do some consulting or tech support for people. In the meantime, learn.

Start by learning Linux and how to build a PFSense router. LTT can't help you with their videos, but Tek Syndicate can.

Try to get some certifications like A+ because it is almost impossible to get a job without an useless piece of paper that does not at all correlate to your skill.
