TV for gaming?

im looking for a TV (yes a tv not a monitor) around 30-40 inches to put facing my bed so if im ever tired after school or something and i want to play with a controller a single player game i dont need to use a keyboard and mouse and sit at a desk. it has to be 1080p and above 60Hz, a decent response time would be nice too. it would be great if it was around $250-300.

yea theres tons of gimicks the use but im just avoiding 30Hz

  This is going to confuse lots of people, so say like "at least 60Hz", also, what size are you looking for?
