it mostly depends on what exactly you'll be doing. skylake is 10% faster than haswell, so in situations where you need that extra performance it'll be worth it.

(x99 is *theoretically* even faster, but in many cases the applications cant make use of the extra cores)

Lower voltage and higher capacities.

Which again, gives you literately no advantage... If your running DDR4 chances are you're gonna have a kick-ass PSU to back that up.

Like you need lower voltage, And the reason why we don't have it on anything other then Skylake and X99 is because its not nessisary and we still don't need it

Intel's just trying to bring it mainstream

Now HUSH I have to go eat >.>

You literally said "There isn't any difference besides higher speeds", which is simply not true.

I don't give a fuck if we need DDR4 or not.

Is lower voltage new?

No we have had low voltage since the of PC time

end of story. DDR3 can run lower then 1.5 volts rendering it not new.

Its not like we have Never had RAM below the voltage of 1.5 volts

DDR3 at 1.35V is called DDR3L. There is a difference aswell.

Here we are talking about DDR3 and DDR4.

Again, between DDR3 and DDR4 are far more differences than just the speeds.

You said, the ONLY difference is the speed, which is simply not true.
