So I'm going to be buying 2x 780s for my new build. I want to get a reference card, and wanted to ask everyone if there's any difference between each manufacturers (EVGA, Asus, Gigabyte etc)?

Should I just go with the cheapest?

Thanks

Fluffy

With reference cards there's no difference bar warranty.

I'ld get aftermarket cards but, much much better cooling

I just love the look of the cooler on reference :(

Nope, pure air cooling (except AIO H100i for CPU)

Yeah it's pretty awesome looking, but they can't compare to something like a DirectCU2 or windforce card by any means.

How much would the estimated performance be do you think, on a card like windforce (that's the only aftermarket that would fit my color scheme)?

Your looking at about 10 degrees cooler at the same overclocks and alot less fan noise.

Dang that does sound worth it... The windforce card comes OC, can I OC it further?

Yeah of course, and because the temps are going to be lower you can bump up your voltages and push the OC alot harder before you hit any temp problems :)

I think you have just convinced me :) Thank you sir !
