This is what I plan on building within the next few weeks. I had posted on here not to long ago about building a new system for school and since Skylake has been released I decided to change all the parts since my school is paying for the majority of it. So what do you guys think? Any suggestions you'd like to make or comments on things I have chosen?

WHET???

NO and WHET???

And why is your school paying for that?

Whet to what? Well, it's not really the school is paying for it. Government technically is. It's my left over tuition money the school gives back to me xD

Looks good to me, though where is the case?

The case is my current computer case that I have. It's a Rosewill Throne. I love the case even if it isn't the best case in the world. I like the design and the built in fan control so that's why there is no included case.

Don't know about the PSU.

Spend the extra like $30 on a 5820k and x99 Mobo.

I don't really want a 5820k. I'd rather just have a 6700k. Plus the CPU and Mobo are the two things coming out of my pocket. I'll only have $1500 left over from my tuition money to spend on this.

I hate it already!!!

It really is about being the best. My best way in trying to build a pc that will get me through school editing videos and doing other stuff with it.

My computer to do all of that cost half a third of that.

(In Australia computer parts cost a lot more, so maybe even 4 times cheaper)

I might. It's very tempting. I just didn't want more than 4 cores in this build. I know with DX12 it's supposed to make use of more cores better, I would just rather have the higher clock speed and lower amount of cores.

So u then give it back to the government not waste government money on a computer. Asshole x2

I already pay the government enough money in taxes... enough in taxes to where I get over $1200 every year back in income tax. If they need that money so bad then why do they give it back to me? Not being an asshole if they don't want it themselves.

It may have a lower clock speed, but it using more cores I believe still gives it more power overall compared to a 4 core @ 4.0ghz cpu. With that cpu cooler you could easily overclock to 3.5-4.0. I believe the user that has a red dinosaur as their icon has a guide in his signature on overclocking

Well you know what, not my fault that I get $1500 every semester extra for school. The government gives it to me so I use it. I'm supposed to use it on stuff for school anyway and since I'm going into video editing and working with networking and programming I want a really good computer to be able to do the job. If you have a problem with it then complain to the US government. Honestly you're just being pissy because the Australian government doesn't give you shit. I've seen people do far worse with their school refunds than what I'm doing. At least I'm using my money towards something to help me in school. I could just take the money and go to a strip club. I could take the money and go on a paid vacation by the government to some other country. But I'm not. I'm using it to build a PC for myself to help with school work. When I get $1500 next semester I'll find something else but I'll be sure not to let you know anything about it since you have to be a complete asshole about this. Now quit being a fucking cry baby you little ass kid.

(I see you changed your post when i am tying this)

I feel it it wrong, you don't, I can't do anything about it & yes there are worse ways to spend that money, but it still don't feel that it justify's you to spend gifted money for school use on an expensive computer.

My morals are different to yours okay, bye!

Honestly i don't see the big deal. Either way the US is in an extreme debt that's impossible to get out of. I say spend it while you got it.
