Go into your BIOS and make sure the multiplier is set to 40 and the voltage set to Auto. That's not safe in any capacity.

Asus rog self optimization apparentlly...way not good..changed it straight away.

As soon I I started I turned it off, as it was way too high. Something is not right with the asus rog self overclock...

 

This is at stock, but should't it go to 4.2?

As said, voltages (and multiplier) is just too damn high. Either lower that, or grab yourself a dual radiator WC.

I would just leave it, that CPU is already a champ at stock speeds unless you want to drop a ton of money on a better cooler my FX 6300 is crying

Such voltage should be only used for extreme overclocking ( for benchmarking only ) with really good cooler.

You maybe should go to read some guide before you play around with overclocking.

Its made from "der8auer" worldrank #2 in Skylake overclocking. Its in German but im sure you can use your browser to translate it, and get atleast some useful informations.

Software auto overclocking is a bad idea and your situation perfectly explains why. 1.5v vcore is way, way too high. If you are going to overclock, do it right. Set the voltages manually, it is time consuming yes, but not that hard. Never trust overclocking software.
