Key Switches

Go to solution Solved by minibois,

hey guys is theres any differences between RGB Blue / Brown with non RGB Blue / Brown switches ?

it's just a different sort of LED which instead of 1 color is able to display 16.7 million different colors.

so no.

Literally the 16.7 million color LED that is mounted in the switch.

so theres no any differences in tactical feedback and something right ? just some fancy LED added ?

There is a difference. It's just not a difference with how the switch feels. RGB switches have to have space for the 4 pins that the LED uses, and they also have to have space for the increased physical size of the LED. As far as feel/the way the plunger is shaped, there is no difference, so they will feel the same as any other cherry switch, but there is a difference between the two. That's why nobody made RGB switches for a long time. It simply couldn't be done.
