Hey guys, I'm in a bit of a pickle and was hoping I could get some help with what headphones I should get.

I've been eyeing out the Kingston Hyper X Cloud II's ($149) for a while, but recently my local computer store that I go to put the Razer Tiamat 7.1's on sale for $99, and it's thrown me off completely.

It would be much appreciated if I could get some opinions on what to get, and also an opinion as to why.

Thanks  :)

I'm starting to get the picture that Razer is bad? Haha

I just bought my HyperX Cloud IIs, and they're absolutely incredible. Sound quality is crisp and clear, they are well-made and the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. I'd spend the extra $50 for those, you won't regret it.

Ah that's good! And I'm more than happy to pay the $50 extra, just wanted to see if it was worth buying the Tiamat since it's almost $300 in Australia /ripoff

Good lord Hyperx cloud 2's are now 160 dollars?

I have original clouds, and they are nice and all but I wouldn't have spent more than 50 dollars on them (which I didn't.)

@Stijncat no matter what people say, the naga fills a need that until recently no other mouse did (that as halfway decent.) And is still a very good mouse (although I wouldn't and didn't pay full price.)

Yeah, no way the Tiamat is worth $300. HyperX Cloud IIs are the way to go IMHO.

EDIT: Although, if you don't need 7.1 surround sound then you could save a little and get the Cloud Ones.

No experience on the mice, but you are right on the word horrible! :P

Yeah, heard good stuff about the mouse. But also don't forget to mention the atrocious Razer Synapse that you need with your Razer Peripherals!

I rather like it. But then again I'm not limited by cpu power so it can suck away all I want.
