Do I need Java

minibois
Go to solution Solved by Speedbird,

I want to uninstall Java, do I need Java or not anymore?

I don't play Minecraft and never run Java applications on Chrome or whatever.. so is there any reason to have it?

No. Uninstall it.

If you don't play minecraft, then you don't need it. Its about the only thing that still uses that piece of crap.

If you play Runescape then don't, but if you don't need it for anything you can uninstall it, but beware sometimes you might need it ^_^

It depends on what program you are using but generally, no you don't need it. I haven't in many many years. Even Chrome has stopped using it.

It's not 2006 anymore, so not playing Runescape anymore ;)

If I need it I will just install it for a sec and uninstall afterwards

You don't need it for anything worth a damn and you may as well just uninstall it.

But referring to it as a virus (I know it was a joke, but still) is quite wrong. It's more accurate to refer to it as being horrifically insecure.

't was a joke, don't worry about it.

It's just a bit too insecure for me.
