Asus Strix 980 Ti - height and my case.

sew999

Hi . I have a question Asus Strix 980 Ti and height dimension. I have case Cooler Master Centurion 590.
I am not sure if i will be able to close side panel after plugging Strix 980 ti.

I previously plugged easily to my case Asus Gtx 780 Ti DCII OC which height is 147.3 mm . Asus Strix 980 Ti height is 152 mm. So i will be able to plug Asus Strix 980 ti in my case? Its only 5mm difference in height.

Do not go with the Strix it has a terrible cooler and is quite loud, also ASUSs customer service starting to become terrible now. Their QC has gone down in Graphic cards and monitors. The only thing they are good at making now is Motherboards, not the best though

Graphics cards are not ASUS's strong point.

The same with QC on monitors.

If you think so, I would look at reviews for it.

I would say Zontac's Amp Extreme beats it.

I think nearly all Graphic cards beat the Strix

That is a completely different GPU, your GPU is GM206, we are talking about GM200 here

Thoes are 960's witch puts out almost no heat and have completely different coolers, your argument is completely invalid.

Whatever but strix r9 390x vs Windforce r9 390x?

Strix wins with same fan profile. My uncle has it in crossfire and windforce is bottom card under strix

The cooler on thoes cards are different as well, the windforce they put on the 390X is not the greatest. You don't seem to understand that companies don't copy paste cooler designs from card to card.
