new headset...

so im looking for a headset that has a good mic and decent audio output. I really dont want to use a modmic or something like it. Ive had my eye on the Hyperx clout 2. I will be doing some youtubeing and podcasting. what do you think??

HyperX Cloud 2 is a great headset though if you're doing professional work you'll want a separate high-quality mic. The mic on that headset is better than most, but still not the greatest.

Think most people will usually recommend getting some headphones and a mic separately for professional work

Coming from an audiophile I would pick up a Yeti Mic or AT 2020 and AKG headset,  AKG 702 are well worth.

Any headset mic (built-in or Mod Mic or otherwise) is going to be absolutely PAINFUL to listen to in a longform content type like a podcast. 

The HyperX Cloud II has a decent mic for basic streaming and live videos, but you're going to want a decent desktop mic for any sort of serious audio work, if you expect anyone to listen to it.
