My suggestion think of a video,you want to make 

get a camera (Use your mobile if you have to) and gets some footage and start editing 

 

(That how I got better,also lot of tutorials)

does anybody have some sample footage in 1080p for hobby editing? i need to learn to edit better... like something with a steadycam thank you

Record some gameplay. Then edit it.

I sugget shooting video yourself since shooting+editing kinda hang together.

When you edit video knowing the location is pretty important if you ask me, otherwise you end up doing things that end up pretty horrible, because you could end up doing things eith the footage for what it wasn't meant to.

On the otherhand, so far i know something like stock footage doesn't really exist.

So my suggestion.

Get an idea of what you want to edit(or how) and shootfootage that fits it.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.
