Windows 10 Settings won't open

Go to solution Solved by Scottonpc,

Windows 10 Windows Apps (aka: Universal Apps) are fully GPU rendered.

A silent crash can be due to that the graphics card drivers have a bug. Make sure you install the latest drivers for your graphics card.

If you have an Nvidia GPU, I recommend to select "Advanced" in the setup screen, uncheck Nvidia 3D vision stuff, GeForce experience (at least until it gets better), and check the box to do a clean install. Once all done, restart your system, and see if it now works.

This troubleshooter fixed the problem: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-other_settings/settings-doesnt-launch-or-launches-the-store/ec439819-7ee4-4b4d-abdd-35d82e04c55f?page=1&auth=1

Did you try to run sfc /scannow?

Also, even if it's intel graphics, you can try to uninstall/reinstall them.

This is useful info, thanks.

OP: If GoodBytes' fix does not help, try reverting back to your old OS and then back again (I had to do this to fix an audio issue. It held on the old OS but worked when I went back up.)

I used the Intel Driver Update Utility and downloaded and installed the latest Intel HD graphics Driver for Windows 10 but still the same problem?
