Is Battlefield Hardline better than BF4 in any way?

Profoundsoup

Not really. The only thing I like better is the zipline. Everything else, BF4 is better IMO.

I'm sure there are SOME good things, but damn, it's really not worth the money IMO.

Personally, I don't have it but from what I have seen and heard, Battlefield 4 is a lot better. EA is also overpricing Hardline a LOT. And you still have to pay a LOT more money to get the full game.

I like the fact that normal guns can damage unarmored / light armored vehicles. You should totally be able to disable jeeps with a sniper shot to the engine grill!

If they would have released hardline as one of those stand alone DLCs like Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon for $25-30 it would have been a lot better.  Instead it ended up being a game that felt like BF4.5 for $60+ 40 for premium.

I'm thinking but I can't really think of anything that they did even equal to BF4.

They did something interesting with the interrogate mechanic but that was better done by Ghost Recon: FS where after tazing an enemy you could hack their IFF system to learn enemy locations for a few moments and got bonus points for enemies who died due to this.

It's an awful game with awful balance that felt like BF4 did 3 months in rather than in the much better state 12 months in.

Are their any good things about the game because all I hear is negative remarks

All the negativity is coming from people play conquest 24/7.

The new game modes are great, but if you're just going to play Conquest mostly then it's not worth it.

Shame the game isn't more active on PC, it's really a nice change.

It's actually an alright shooter in my opinion (with the right map and player count), but it is practically dead on PC. BF4 is where the community is. You probably won't find a Hardline PC server, unless all you want to do is play 64-man The Block ad nauseum.

I have it and as a game its a good way to spend some time but dude the online experience totally sucks. If you play a game mode like blood money or conquest forget about even coming anywhere near your objective because many players basecamp like its in fashion, you'll hear snipers go off constantly from players and those occur even in the smallest of maps where an SMG is the go to gun, and it's annoying because the game is good although not better than BF4 so from someone who plays both take BF4.

-snip-

I played basically every game mode. They sucked. Hotwire was just a mode to play to gain points for weapons. Blood money was spawn camp the game mode. The other 2 were shitty CS:GO rip offs.
