No dvi or anything. Just USB 3.0. Will it bottleneck a r9 360. If will how much will be.

Depends on fps and resolution.

Umm, USB 3.0 isn't a display cable.

 

If you mean a USB video card(a dongle with a video output on it), that won't affect your graphic card.

OP: if you use USB powered monitor you will basically render your R7 360 useless.

It's not. Won't affect the graphic card. It uses it's own video chip, powered through USB.

any monitor will work as a gaming monitor as long as it some sort of connection to your graphics card.

Monitor dosent have any connection to GPU. Gets power and video signal though the usb

then you need a monitor which uses HDMI, DVI or Displayport to the GPU

 

not via USB
