New Gaming build-Please Rate/Help :)

Go to solution Solved by LNW,

Definitely!! Cheaper is always better, and Black Friday Deals are AMAZING for the PC community. No problem.

Hello Friends,

A month or two from now I'll probably give up on my still beastly sandy bridge, and go for this new build. I'll give the old computer to the Ms' and we can play games together and be cuddly.

Any ideas/tips/feedback/improvements/etc please don't hesitate to let me know. It's been 4 years since I looked at computer parts :)

I don't play many FPS Games if any, but I may, not sure why I picked that monitor other than apparently it's beast. I play mostly Moba's/MMORPGs.

Budget is probably 1500$

Thanks all!

I'm sorry everyone. No clue how that happened. It's here: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/alpha0meqa/saved/#view=bbhNnQ

Also edited my original post :(!

My current build is a i5 2500K -- Radeon 6950 2gb  -- 16GB of ram ---and stuff :)

Personally, what I would do, is swap out the 16gb of ram to 8gb 1600mhz, and then change the gpu to the R9 390. Loads more VRAM, and performs slightly better. That's just my Two Cents.

Yeah I would imagine it's best to get that card as well. Was starting to wonder if there was a way of fitting a 980 but I guess the 390 is still better. Ram is basically free and I lazily have tons of things open so i would like to keep the 16gb :o

Regardless, I still recommend the 390 over the 970.
